About
The IYPT is a team-based physics competition in which students research seventeen open-ended problems over a year and defend their findings in a structured debate called a Physics Fight. InYPT is the national selection process that determines the Indian delegation.
Since India's first participation in the IYPT in 2018, we have progressed significantly, earning our first honorable mention in 2025 and our highest ever rank in 2026. Every year, more and more talented physics students take part in the InYPT.
